Creative Social Media Strategist

We’re looking for someone who can help brainstorm, plan, and execute creative social media campaigns around Rebecca Jenshak’s books, launches, sales, reveals, events, and reader engagement.

This is not just a posting role. The ideal person understands romance readers, is familiar with Rebecca’s books or willing to read them, and can turn a marketing goal into fun, polished, on-brand social content.

Responsibilities

  • Brainstorm and plan creative social media campaigns for launches, sales, cover reveals, audiobook releases, signings, giveaways, and reader events.
  • Turn marketing goals into engaging content ideas, including reels, stories, carousels, graphics, captions, and interactive posts.
  • Help build anticipation before events, maintain momentum afterward, and make content feel reader-focused rather than overly promotional.
  • Repurpose existing book and brand assets in fresh ways while keeping content polished and on-brand.
  • Review basic engagement data to understand what is working and improve future ideas.

Ideal Fit

  • Familiar with Rebecca Jenshak’s books, or willing to read them to understand the brand and readers.
  • Understands romance readers, tropes, fandom energy, and what makes readers excited.
  • Has strong creative instincts, good visual taste, and the ability to generate ideas without needing every post assigned.
  • Can think in campaigns, not just individual posts, and execute ideas in a practical, organized way.
  • Comfortable using simple engagement data — likes, comments, shares, saves, clicks, reach, and story responses — to evaluate content.
  • Basic graphic/design ability is helpful, but creative campaign thinking matters most.

Note: This is a contract / freelance role.
